Reunion Rescheduled

Fellow 1970 Classmates:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee for our SHS 50^th reunion decided to cancel the event for this summer and reschedule it for the same weekend in 2021; July 23^rd and 24^th.  Our decision to reschedule complies with the CDC recommendation restricting crowds of people to 50 or fewer.  This restriction might easily be extended into the fall of this year.  For those of you who had scheduling conflicts for this summer, we hope that you'll be able to join us in 2021.

A key objective of the committee is to maximize attendance.  With this objective in mind, we will continue to collect your email addresses to facilitate communication between the committee and the attendees - but we need your help to make this a success.  If you haven't already done so, please send an email message with your name as it appeared in 1970 to Sylvania1970Alumni@gmail.com.

The committee members who made deposits for the weekend have decided to leave the money in the SHS 1970 Reunion checking account and will be applied to the reunion in 2021.  Everyone who has sent us a deposit will be contacted by a committee member regarding the disposition of their deposit.

The Wingate hotel (5480 South Main Street, Sylvania, OH 43560 - (419) 517-2000) has moved our block of rooms from July 2020 to July 23^rd - 24^th, 2021. For those who made reservations, your credit card has not been charged for your room, and is only used to hold the reservation. For questions or confirmation, please call the hotel directly at (419) 517-2000.

Please note the new date for our reunion on your calendar for next year - July 23^rd and 24^th, 2021.
